The road to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, near the south entrance of Yosemite National Park is closed in the winter, and is found along a 4 mile, very scenic, round-trip hike.

Yosemite National Park with Bridalveil Falls in the foreground and Half Dome in the background.  It seemed that there were waterfalls in every direction on this sunny, late March afternoon.

The waterfalls of Yosemite National Park from Glacier Point, and a view of Half Dome.  More breathtaking than words can describe.  These photos were taken in early September.  Experiencing this beauty first-hand is a must!
