The road to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, near the south entrance of Yosemite National Park is closed in the winter, and is found along a 4 mile, very scenic, round-trip hike.

Yosemite National Park with Bridalveil Falls in the foreground and Half Dome in the background. It seemed that there were waterfalls in every direction on this sunny, late March afternoon.

While the grand vistas of Yosemite National Park are the main attraction, I thought this photogenic little guy was worth focusing on also.
