A popular spot for boaters, sunbathers, campers and fisherman, Topaz Lake, which is located on the California-Nevada border beside the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, is a reservoir created by diverting water from the western fork or the Walker River.

Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, CA

The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest is located in both Nevada and California, and offers many spectacular vistas, including Leavitt Falls, mountains, rivers and valleys. Below: photos of the Walker River.
