Winter usually brings the most dramatic sunsets. Southern California is home to many, many seagulls, and they seem to enjoy the sunset as much as the humans they share the beach with. Seal Beach is great for many things... a nice pier, small waves, large expanses of white sand beach and on most days, abundant nearby free parking.
