Long Beach, CA - Prisk Elementary School Wildflowers 2010

I must have missed the annual "open house", but managed to enjoy the garden at Prisk Elementary School in Long Beach, CA through the chain link fence one evening at sunset.

The students at Prisk Elementary School in Long Beach learn about native California plants and wildflowers in Mike Letteriello's Wildflower Garden, which is on a fenced-in plot of land on the school grounds. What a treasure, and gift to the children and community! Today was their annual "Open House".
