Pio Pico State Park in Whittier, CA is located just off of the 605 freeway. Pío Pico State Historic Park features one of southern California’s few remaining 19th century structures made out of the massive sun-dried mud blocks called adobe. This historic state park features a 19th century adobe structure which was owned by Pío de Jesus Pico IV.
