A spectacular bloom is taking place near Lancaster this year, at the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve, and surrounding areas.

Absolutely stunning pictures! EVERYone of them. They make me think I have to see it before I can really believe it.
The bloom this year lasted quite some time. I have been there a month ago and the area north of the reserve was already on fire. Your macro shots are exceptional!
