Malibu Creek State Park, Calabasas, CA

A great spot for hikers, bikers and equestrians, Malibu Creek State Park in Calabasas, CA provides a series of trails that provide mountain vistas, and nature up-close.

Guest photographer, Daniel Jeske.

Above and below:  Remnants from episodes of M*A*S*H*, which was filmed here in the 1970s.

Thanks for sharing your pictures of a hidden jewel in coastal southern california. I hiked this trail with my girlfriend (aka 'sweetest woman on the planet') and we saw some green birds roosting in one of the trees. They were very chirpy and they seemed to want us to notice them.

RedSoxNut: The green birds you saw were some kind of parrot. We saw them too on March 9, 2010. Missed the M*A*S*H site though.
