Mount San Gorgonio and Mount San Jacinto, CA with Snow

After a rainy week, the mountains are snow-covered.  Above and below:  San Bernardino Mountains from outside Beaumont, CA, on Highway 60.

Spectacular shots. How amazing is it, for those of us who live here in the Southland, that we can look out our windows and see such beauty? I'll be going to Lake Arrowhead soon, with my Sweetheart, and can't wait to be surrounded by the wintry scenes while getting a fire going in the cabin.

I am a 6th generation resident of Beaumont, California. I truly appreciate and understand what it truly means to live in the shadow of Mt San Gorgonio and Mt San Jacincto. These truly majestic mountains are sentries between urban Los Angeles and the Mohave Desert.

You can find out more about me at Victor Dominguez Beaumont CA City Council
