Highway 166: Cajon Pass to Tejon Pass, CA: Wildflowers & More!

This scenic drive begins at Mormon Rocks, located just west of Interstate 15, along CA Highway 166, near the San Andreas Fault.

The Mountain Top Cafe, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Joshua Trees with the snow-topped San Gabriel Mountains in the background.

Roadside floral arrangement.

Leaving Joshua Tree country, and approaching the Antelope Valley, CA.

Pear trees in bloom in Pearblossom, CA.

North of Palmdale, the blanket of wildflowers begins.

Close-up of the wildflower mix.

I never get tired of the California Poppy.

The fields become dominated by California Poppies.
